I knew I wanted to be in healthcare after taking a Wilderness EMT course my freshman year of college.
Scared of committing to the length of time it would take to be a doctor, I thought I wanted to be a nurse for a while. My junior year of college I fully committed to the pre-med track, with the end goal of going to allopathic medical school to become an MD. However, my mom ended up getting diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of this school year. She saw an ND in addition to her conventional treatment who was amazing—she helped my mom in really special ways ways that the conventional system could not. After that experience, I took a tour at the National College of Natural Medicine (now National University of Natural Medicine) in Portland, and made the decision to become an ND.
I’m Dr. Kelcie Rosendahl, a naturopathic physician living in Bend, Oregon, & I believe that you have the right to experience freedom within your own body, however that looks and feels to you.
My dog is my world, I spend as much time as I can in the outdoors (preferably climbing rocks), believe in the power of community and honest conversations, consider movement as a form of medicine (be it stretching, walking, or running), and am driven by both my love for the natural world, and hope for what naturopathic medicine can bring to not only your life, but the world at large.

I stumbled upon naturopathic medicine 15 years ago while in the thick of a health crisis. I was a professional ballet dancer who had always been healthy and able to keep up with the rigor of the career. That shifted when I unexpectedly developed debilitating fatigue, digestive issues, and rapid weight gain. I saw numerous doctors who ran dozens of tests, none of which could explain what was going on. In a desperate search for answers, I decided to turn to natural medicine.
Within minutes of my first ever visit with an ND, I realized that spending time with a person, really listening to their concerns, and validating their experience is medicine. This also came with an aha moment that my struggles were a window to my next calling - one where I could help others feel supported and hopeful about restoring their sense of health and well-being.
I have a particular passion for all things related to women’s health. This comes from my own experience with PCOS and witnessing loved ones navigate fertility struggles. That said, I welcome anyone who is looking for support. My goal as a provider is to create a safe space for you to lean into all that you’ve been carrying. From there we work together to find answers and solutions, so that you can get back to feeling like your best self.
Outside of work I enjoy salsa dancing, exploring Central Oregon, challenging a strong fear of heights and speed with typical outdoor Bend activities, and spending time with my husband, daughter, and our fur babies.

Growing up, I watched my mom and grandmothers care for our family with Chinese Medicine. They would brew herbal soups for every ailment and pour an array of warming teas. Those simple traditions carried profound wisdom and gave me a deep sense of comfort — teaching me that health isn’t just the absence of illness, but a way of living in harmony with nature and one’s own body.
My undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences provided me with a strong foundation for critical thinking and evidence-based medicine. Yet, alongside that structure, I felt a pull toward something deeper — a way of practicing that honors the body’s innate wisdom and its connection to nature. That’s what ultimately led me to Naturopathic Medicine.
Today, my practice reflects that balance. I take the time to really get to know my patients — their stories, their routines, and how they interact with their environment. I believe our surroundings, habits, and experiences shape our health just as much as our genetics do. Whether my patients prefer a conventional approach or a more natural one, I focus on understanding their values and priorities. Together, we create a plan that feels approachable, effective, and sustainable — supporting meaningful and lasting progress toward better health.
Outside of my practice, I’m usually with my husband and our two daughters, exploring the outdoors, enjoying good food, or learning how to play a new board game.
